Tiger (2017)
Ashok Nayak wants to be a police officer, much against his father’s wish. He falls in love with a girl named Gauri, who has a lustful suitor who she wants to get away from. While saving her from him, Ashok discovers a surprising truth about his father, which adds more drama to his already complicated situation.
Nanda Kishora has proven that he is capable of making good commercial cinema thus far. With Tiger came the onus of reintroducing Pradeep with a mass makeover, which Nanda has tried to do leaving no commercial formula untouched. Does he succeed? Fairly to a large extent, though one does get tired at times as the pace slackens occasionally and the film could have been a good half an hour shorter.
