Like all other movies by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Jhoothi is also a story about the family next door.Very down to earth and real, this is a story about young Kalpana (Rekha), who lies her way through several situations.However, through kidnappings, and court scenes, it is finally proved that it is ‘ok’ to lie once in a while.Raj Babbar and Rasik Dave as brothers Anil and Sunil, and Dena and Supriya Pathak as mother and daughter steal the show along with star Rekha. A must-watch like all other movies by Hrishikesh da.
