Bala (2019) *HQ*
Bala is about Balmukund Shukla aka Bala (Ayushmann Khurrana), who was quite a popular kid in school with a good hairdo. However, in his 20s he is now dealing with premature balding. He starts wearing a hair toupee. His neighbour is Latika (Bhumi Pednekar), whom he used to bully in school for her darker complexion and continues to look down upon her due to her skin tone. He falls in love with a local fairness cream model and a Tiktok star Pari (Yami Gautam). Soon they start dating and are going to get married but, Bala hasn’t told her that he wears a toupee and is actually bald. What happens next forms the rest of the story.
