Anjaan (2014)
Anjaan (English: Fearless) is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by N. Lingusamy, staring Suriya in two distinct roles with Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the female lead, while Bollywood actors Manoj Bajpayee, Vidyut Jamwal and Dalip Tahil play supporting roles. Anjaan opened to mixed reviews from critics, with praise directed towards Suriya’s performance and the background score, and criticism towards the length of the film, the placement of songs, the screenplay and the plot. Deccan Chronicle rated 3.5 out of 5 and said “It’s Suriya’s show all the way.”
