Thakur Sunder Singh is the Thakur of a small Estate, who has a daughter Sharmila and brother Madan Singh. In his past Sunder Singh was in love with a village girl and when she carried his child he asked her never to see him again. This past is always hunting Sunder Singh and in his memory, he always sings. His daughter Sharmila is in love with a Doctor Shyam, who also treats Sunder Singh her father as he is a patient of Asthama and Heart. Madan Singh is a wicked man and always runs short of maney. When he sees Sharmila and Doctor Shyam in Romance, he goes to Sunder Singh and informs him about his daughter. Sunder Singh gets very much upset and quarreld with Sharmila to the extent of slapping her also
