Vishwas Rao (Shahid Kapoor) is an aspiring actor, who wishes to make it big in Bollywood, much to the dismay of his mother (Padmini Kolhapure), who wants him to become a cop.When Vishwas is sent to Mumbai to appear for the police exams, he lands up at a photographer’s studio to get his portfolio clicked and ends up foiling a kidnap plot with the help of social worker Kajal (Ileana D’Cruz), while wearing a cop uniform meant for the portfolio.
